What is Brass?
Money skills nobody taught us.
Not a bank. Not a budgeting app. Just a better start.
Designed as a web app for young people, councils, schools, and local partners who want financial support to feel practical, local, and human.
One small swap at a time. Skip a bought coffee. Pack a lunch. Cancel a forgotten subscription. Everything adds up.
Complete challenges and earn XP. XP unlocks real perks from local West Yorkshire businesses — not vouchers you'll never use.
Ask Oz anything about money. A short, straight answer — no jargon, no lecture, no judgement. Just Oz.
How it works
Four steps. That's it.
No bank account. No credit check. No download. Just open it in your browser and go.

Pick your goal
Festival tickets. New trainers. Emergency fund. Something you actually want — not a vague savings pot.
Join a challenge
One small swap this week. Skip a coffee. Pack a lunch. Walk instead of the bus. Pick one and do it.
Complete it. Earn XP.
XP only lands when you actually finish it. Not when you say you will. That's the whole point.
Unlock rewards
Real local perks. Free coffee in Leeds. Discount at Waterstones. A free gym trial in Wakefield.

Meet Oz
Not a bank.
Just Oz.
Oz is your free money coach inside Brass. Ask anything — savings goals, spending habits, what an ISA is, or just “where do I even start?” You get a straight answer, not a brochure.
“Let's figure it out.”

Local rewards
West Yorkshire, specifically.
When you earn XP, you unlock real perks from places you might actually go — not generic vouchers.

Show this screen at the counter. That's it.
Why Brass exists
“Most people don't like talking about money. And a lot of young people were never really taught how it works. I built Brass because I wanted my children, Zoë and Asher, to grow up with something that makes money easier to understand — before it gets complicated. If it helps other families in West Yorkshire too, even better.”
